Saturday programming includes a screening of the community-made film HEAVENLY ANGLE followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Ernest Thompson (Oscar-winning screenwriter of ON GOLDEN POND), a project that embodies the heart and soul of the festival’s mission to embrace and promote the theme of community; and a screening of the Oscar-nominated documentary A TIME FOR BURNING, with a Q&A with the director, Bill Jersey, about how, 50 years after the release of this movie, we are still having the same conversation about race relations today.

Closing Awards Ceremony and Rock Concert


The closing awards ceremony will be followed by a rock concert by rock and roll legends who are former members of Electric Light Orchestra, ELO Part II, and Styx, and have also performed with Billy Joel, John Lennon, Bonnie Tyler, James Taylor, KISS, Aerosmith, Celine Dion, Meatloaf, Carly Simon, and many more.
